Wild Kritters of Niagara County will hold its 12th annual basket raffle fundraiser from noon until 4 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at the 3-F Conservation Club, 904 Swann Road, Youngstown.
Admission is free. Regular basket tickets are $5 per sheet, while big-item prize tickets are three for $5. The drawing will be held at 4 p.m. Winners need not be present to claim a prize.
Guests can come out see wildlife and birds of prey up close and personal. Additionally, food, drinks and baked goods are on sale.
Funds from this benefit are used to help with costs of veterinary care, necessary surgeries, and medications and formula for orphaned animals. All donations are used strictly for care of the animals - not for any overhead. Wild Kritters is an entirely volunteer-run, privately funded, nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization.
Wild Kritters of Niagara County is a dedicated group of New York state and federally licensed wildlife rehabilitators who rescue and care for injured and orphaned wildlife in this area. Rehabilitators even open their homes for housing and care of animals in need.
