Sat, Mar 3rd 2018 07:00 am
As the St. Patrick's Day season commences in northern Niagara, the Youngstown Lions Club announces its annual St. Patrick's Day "Cash Bash" will take place Saturday, March 17. The event will follow the annual O'Riordan St. Patrick's Day Parade, which runs from 1-4 p.m. in the Village Red Brick Village Center gym, 240 Lockport St.
The event will feature an afternoon of entertainment, food and refreshments for visitors, with cash prizes totaling more than $3,000 to be drawn. In addition, a $5 draw will occur every 15 minutes. The winner will need to be present to win.
Tickets are now on sale for a $20 donation. Youngstown Lions President Richard Allen said a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the door that day.
Proceeds from the event go to benefit the Youngstown Lions Park, the Youngstown Lions Scholarship Fund in honor of the late Village Mayor Neil Riordan, and other Lions-supported charities.
For more information, contact Allen at 716-870-9700, or any Youngstown Lions Club member.
