Niagara County Department of Health offers free 'Positive Pregnancy and Parenting' class series

If you live in ZIP codes 14301, 14303 or 14305 and want to learn about health and wellness topics that can positively improve the health of you and your family, this is for you. The Niagara County Department of Health, in collaboration with local agencies and partners, is offering a free "Positive Pregnancy and Parenting" class series.
The several-week series workshop will include topics such as breastfeeding, safe sleep, bedtime routines, nurturing parenting, stress reduction, lead screening and prevention, chronic disease reduction, developmental screening for young children, and family spacing. Those participating in the class series will be empowered to make healthy choices by receiving information, gaining knowledge of the agencies and free services available to the community. They'll also receive free take-home items relevant to the class topics. Additionally, all registered adult participants will receive a gift card for participation at each class.

The first class series will begin March 6 and occur every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until noon at the Community Health Center of Niagara, 2715 Highland Ave.
