Zadzilka to remain Common Council president in NT

At Tuesday night's reorganization meeting for the City of North Tonawanda, the Common Council voted to keep Alderman Eric Zadzilka as the president of the council. Alderman Robert Pecoraro initially nominated Zadzilka, which then Alderman Donna Braun seconded. There were no other nominations for the spot.
The council also established that Common Council meetings will continue to be held at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday's of each month.
The Common Council also designated the Niagara Gazette, the Buffalo News, the Niagara-Wheatfield/North Tonawanda Tribune and The Sun as the official newspapers for North Tonawanda for 2018. The city uses these media outlets as a source for legal notices and other various information.
