Caroling returns to Youngstown

Mon, Dec 18th 2017 01:50 pm
It's that time of year again for another great, family-friendly, event: Youngstown's Caroling in the Village on Saturday evening, Dec. 23.
Free and open to everyone, the activity includes old-time caroling and takes about an hour as participants visit village businesses, residences and the Youngstown Free Library. In past years, the annual caroling has included both local participants as well as those from Niagara Falls. It's especially fun for those who can't sing, but do well in a group.
Those interested are asked to gather at 6:30 p.m. at the Youngstown Village Diner, 425 Main St., for a pre-party and to warm up their vocal cords. Dress warmly, as temperatures are expected to be in the mid- to upper-20s.
Caroling will start between 6:50 and 7 p.m. Sheets of carols will be provided, while an after-party will follow at the Mug and Musket, 418 Main St. (Photo by Glenn Clark)
