Members of the Barefoot Christian Community gathered on Dec. 3 for its monthly Serve Sunday. After singing, reading scripture, and having a brief advent devotional, members worked together on Christmas outreach projects for the local community.
Cookies were decorated for local town officials, firefighters, and police officers. Gifts were made for residents of Our Lady of Peace nursing home. Presents were wrapped for a local family in conjunction with The Magdalene Project of Niagara Falls.
The Barefoot Christian Community worships at 10 a.m. on Sundays at the Calvin K. Richards Senior/Youth Activity Center in the Town of Niagara. The congregation's Christmas Eve worship gathering will be at 10 a.m. on Dec. 24.
