The Lewiston Community Lions Club once again came through with support for Thanksgiving dinners for the Tuscarora Nation community. Lion Teresa Tourbin was proud to represent our Lions Club and presented the Tuscarora Community Health Workers with a check for $250 to provide much-needed and appreciated food to families during the Thanksgiving season.
Lion Teresa and her husband, Lion John Tourbin, are dedicated members of the Lewiston Community Lions Club and show up at every meeting and volunteer their time for all of our fundraising events. We are proud to have them serve as loyal Lions.
Patti Fischer, pictured here, thanked the Lewiston Community Lions Club.
"On behalf of the Tuscarora Nation community, the Tuscarora Community Health Workers would like to thank the Lewiston Community Lions Club for your continued support to our Nation's residents," she said. "Each holiday season, your generosity has allowed the TCHW to assist in providing much-appreciated foods to families during these special times. With your added contribution, we were able to provide the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal to many Tuscarora homes. Not only do these meals lift the receiver's spirits, but ours as well, as we continue to help our Tuscarora community.
"Thank you, Lion's Club, for your generous community spirit!"
