The guest speaker is Col. Erik L. Aufderheide, vice commander, 914th Air Refueling Wing, as well as the acting 914 ARW Operations Group commander, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station.
All veterans attending the ceremony will be presented an American flag lapel pin and flag from the Girl Scouts, compliments of Old Glory Flag. The Girl Scouts will also sing "God Bless America."
The Lions will collect American flags that are in disrepair for proper disposal. Following the ceremony, the Lioness will serve warm beverage and pastry at the Calvin K. Richards Senior Center located in the park.
