Grand Island Historical Society: 'The Golden Era' theme of holiday luncheons

The Grand Island Historical Society's annual holiday luncheon theme is "The Golden Era."
Tickets are available for Tuesday, Dec. 5; Friday, Dec. 8; and Saturday, Dec. 9, at noon at River Lea in Beaver Island State Park. The program will be "Fashions of the Golden Era" by Maggie Gushue.

Homemade Christmas cookies are needed for the cookie sale that is part of the country store during the luncheons and open houses during December. Deliver cookies to Carolyn Doebert (665 South Colony Road, 716-773-2643) or Sharon Nichols (1570 Cox Road, 716-773-2421) on Dec. 3 or 4.
