Breast Cancer Network presenting seminar for survivors

The Breast Cancer Network of WNY (BCN) will collaborate with Roswell Park Cancer Institute to present a seminar for breast cancer patients and survivors at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8.
The free seminar is titled "Sexuality and Intimacy after Breast Cancer." It will be presented by noted psychologist Dr. Lisa Anllo. Roswell Park will host the event in the Gaylord Cary Room in the Research Studies Center Building at Carlton and Elm streets.
The seminar is the seventh installment of a 10-part wellness series designed for breast cancer survivors and includes light refreshments. Registration is required and can be made online at www.bcnwny.org or by calling BCN at 716-706-0060.
Anllo is a licensed psychologist whose primary specialty is in treating adults with marital/relationship problems. She also specializes in treatment of emotional distress and sexual dysfunction in cancer survivors, and is a recipient of the Susan G. Komen Foundation Hope Award (2009) for her work in improving the lives of breast cancer survivors.
The Breast Cancer Network of WNY, founded in 1988, is dedicated to the education, support and advocacy for breast cancer patients and survivors of WNY. It is located in Depew and offers a full schedule of support groups, restorative health classes, education programs and outreach for newly diagnosed patients.
