United Way of Greater Niagara's final race to raise its 2017 Campaign Goal of $1,150,000 begins with the "Go for the Goal" event from 5-9 p.m. tonight at the Hard Rock Cafe, Niagara Falls USA.
"We are expecting a nice crowd that will help us reach our goal this year," United Way Director of Resource Development Erika Kastel said. "Hard Rock Cafe has been supporting our efforts since the beginning of this campaign and we very thankful that they are facilitating this terrific event for us. We also thank our media sponsors: Buffalo News and Niagara Frontier Publications; our event sponsors: Wittlin, Cain & Dry and Orleans Labor Council; and special thanks to Katz Americas for donating 2,500 coasters for this event."
Hard Rock will offer a signature drink for $5, served by local celebrities including Jamie Holka, Ken Jones, Mark Laurrie and Bryan Dalporto. James Jeckovich will perform during the event, while and Jeremy Mixon will emcee. Guests can "spin the wheel" for $20 and win additional prizes. A 50/50 raffle will take place throughout the night. There will also be door prizes.
Tickets are available at the door for $10. For more information, contact Kastel at 716-731-4580, ext. 205, or email [email protected].
