Gluck Park Community Build Days: Help create a new playground for local youth

The Niagara Falls Community Development Department invites volunteers to participate in Community Build Days at Gluck Park from 8 am to noon Friday, Oct. 20, and Saturday, Oct. 21. Volunteers will help install a new playground at Gluck Park (corner of 16th Street and Weston Avenue), under supervision from certified playground installers.
The new Gluck Park playground is being funded by a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant.
"Our team is using this new park investment as an opportunity to bring residents and local volunteers together in the spirit of cooperation. Let's come together as a community and build a new Gluck Park playground, improving the quality of life for surrounding neighborhood in the process," said Seth Piccirillo, director of community development.
This project is the 28th public park/space improvement executed by the City of Niagara Falls since 2011.
