'History of the Funnies' exhibit at Carnegie Art Center

On display at the Carnegie Art Center in North Tonawanda until Saturday, Aug. 19, is original cartoon and comic art in "A History of the Funnies: 1880s -2000s." Comprehensively chronicling over a century of incredible comic art history, this exhibit displays 160 pieces of the Dr. Maurie Dewey's collection.
The Carnegie Art Center is located at 240 Goundry St., North Tonawanda. It is open from 6-9 p.m. Thursdays and from noon until 3 p.m. Saturdays.
