Dr. Frank Joseph Costanzo, 92, of Henderson, North Carolina, entered into rest Monday, July 17, 2017, at the Hock family Pavilion Hospice House in Durham, North Carolina.
Born in Niagara Falls, New York, he was the eldest child of the late Joseph P. Costanzo Sr. and Catherine Costanzo.
Dr. Costanzo was a hard-working dentist and devoted husband and father from Grand Island. He was a member of the St. Stephen R.C. Church on Grand Island. He was a charter member of the Boy Scouts of America in Niagara Falls, president of the Grand Island School Board, and president of the Rotary Club of Grand Island. He was also a member of the Kiwanis Club.
Surviving are his beloved wife of just a month short of their 60th wedding anniversary, Gladys M. (Campbell) Costanzo; three sons: Frank J. Costanzo Jr. (Stella) of Grand Island, Stephen P. Costanzo (Karen Singleton) of Henderson, North Carolina, and James D. Costanzo (Charity) of Morrisville, North Carolina, and a sister, Virginia C. Celenza (Joseph) of Niagara Falls; six grandchildren: Lisa Henshaw (Tom), Ray Breeden (Margie), Cheryl Smith (Vick), Chelsea Costanzo, Amanda Costanzo, Jack Costanzo; and seven great-grandchildren. He also left behind several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by three brothers: Dr. Paul R. Costanzo (Dorothy), Joseph P. Costanzo Jr. (Phyllis), and Carl P. Costanzo (Mary).

A Memorial mass will be held in his honor at St. Stephen R.C. Church, 2100 Baseline Road, Grand Island, Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 10 a.m. in the small chapel.
