Cardiologist joins Heart Center of Niagara medical staff

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has announced a key addition to its growing staff of cardiologists at The Heart Center of Niagara.
Reza Banifatemi, M.D., F.A.C.C., will join the medical staff effective Monday. Board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography, Banifatemi was named one of Western New York's top doctors in cardiology in 2016 and 2017 by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., publisher of America's Top Doctors. He has been an author and principal investigator on multiple published, peer-reviewed research projects, and holds professional membership in the American College of Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
Banifatemi graduated from the University of Pécs Medical School in Hungary. He completed postgraduate training including a fellowship in cardiology at the Drexel University School of Medicine, where he was chief cardiology fellow.
As a member of the Great Lakes Cardiovascular team of providers, he will join Dr. Neil Dashkoff, Dr. James Conley, Dr. Sachin Wadhawan and Susan DeLong, N.P., in providing invasive and noninvasive cardiology care and services at their Heart Center of Niagara office.
