The Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University will offer free Sunday afternoon tours throughout June and July. Each tour will focus on a different topic and museum exhibit.
No reservations are required. Visitors of all ages are welcome.
One of the current feature exhibitions is "Painting Niagara: Thomas Kegler." Harkening back to the Hudson River School of painting, artist and educator Kegler will lend his "Niagara, Psalms 84:11," an eight-foot panoramic painting of the Horseshoe Falls of Niagara.
The quiet and contemplative works in this exhibition include 15 plein air paintings and related studies, as well as works from the Castellani Art Museum collection.
Free Sunday tours begin at 2 pm on June 11 and 25, and July 16 and 30.
