At an awards ceremony on Wednesday, HART Interfaith Inc. (also known as the Home Assistance Referral Team) marked 35 years of helping seniors. "Salute!" was the theme of the dinner program, which was held inside the new Niagara Falls Country Club banquet room in Lewiston.
HART board members presented awards to Cornerstone CFCU and DiMino Lewiston Tops. Also honored for their service to the agency were the Rev. Dr. Joyce Sirianni and Dr. Melvin B. Dyster.
Dyster, who received his award from Dr. Robert L. Bull, received a special cake in recognition of his 90th birthday - as well as a standing ovation from the crowd of 125-plus.
