The local real estate community came to Grand Island last week to honor some of the industry's longest serving members.
The Buffalo Niagara Association of REALTORS held its REALTOR Emeritus Luncheon at the Buffalo Launch Club May 3. The event honored those who had completed 40 years of service to the industry.
According to realtor Floyd Doring of Grand Island, also a realtor emeritus, 149 people attended the annual event this year.
Angelo LaDuca spoke in honor of senior realtor emeritus Harry T.B. Purvis, who began his career in 1958.
LaDuca honors Purvis.
