The Niagara River Greenway Commission will meet Tuesday, May 16, to determine the consistency of the 55th round of projects. One project under consideration would create the Assumption Forest Preserve on Grand Island.
The meeting will take place at 3 p.m. at the offices of DeVeaux Woods State Park, 3160 DeVeaux Woods Drive, Niagara Falls. The general meeting will be preceded at 2 p.m. by the executive committee meeting.
Public comment on this project will be accepted through May 8. The project proposal is available at www.niagaragreenway.org. Comments may be submitted to [email protected] or by hard copy to the commission at 3160 DeVeaux Woods Drive, Niagara Falls, NY 14305.
