Erie County reimburses town for highway work

Erie County Comptroller Stefan Mychajliw visited the Grand Island Highway Department Tuesday to reimburse the town for snow plowing work. The town plows 71.62 miles of Erie County roads at $3,818.99 per mile for the 2016-17 winter. According to Highway Superintendent James B. Tomkins, the total for this winter was $273,865.34.
