Earlier this month, it was an accolade for Niagara University's undergraduate viewbook. Today, the spotlight has turned to NU's television advertising campaign.

Niagara's TV spots won silver recognition in the TV Series category of the Higher Education Marketing Report's 32nd Annual Educational Advertising Awards, which is touted as the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country.

Working in conjunction with Crowley Webb, Niagara University's office of communications developed media using a newly adapted tagline, "The Power of Niagara," through an integrated advertising campaign consisting of 15- and 30-second broadcast TV spots, 15-second digital videos, digital out-of-home, online banner ads and Facebook and Instagram ads.

On March 1, Niagara University's undergraduate viewbook earned a gold medal (Best in Show) from the Higher Education Marketing Report in its Student Viewbook category.

A national panel of industry specialists reviews each piece, judging creativity, marketing execution and message impact.

The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest, oldest and most respected educational advertising awards competition in the country.

This year, more than 2,250 entries were received from over 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries. The complete listing of award winners is available online at http://educationaladvertisingawards.com.
