Niagara Falls State Park announces Native American handicraft lottery

Applications for the 2017 Native American handicraft sales permits are now available for the summer season at Niagara Falls State Park.

Applications are available at the Niagara Falls State Park Regional Administration office at Prospect Park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and online at http://nysparks.com/parks/46/details.aspx. In order to be eligible for the lottery, applicants must be 18 years of age or older and registered as a Native American or provide verifiable proof of Native American heritage.

Entries are due by Monday, March 13. The drawing will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 17, at the upper level of the Orin Lehman Visitor Center at Niagara Falls State Park. Six names will be drawn; applicants must be present to be selected.
