Wheatfield Lions to hold first meat raffle

The Wheatfield Lion's Club will hold its first meat raffle Saturday, Nov. 5, at the American Legion Post No. 1451 at 6525 Ward Road, Wheatfield. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the raffle begins at 7 p.m.

Featured meats include a variety of beef and pork cuts, as well as chicken and seafood, all supplied by Pellicano's Marketplace.

Tickets are $5 if purchased in advance or $8 at the door. The price of admission includes beer and pop. A cash bar will also be available. Pizza may be purchased at the event and the public is invited to bring their own snacks.
