Barefoot Christian Community, a new congregation in the Town of Niagara, will be launching weekly worship gatherings at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Town of Niagara Community Center, 7000 Lockport Road.
Barefoot Christian Community's founding pastor Jonathan Haseley said the congregation's mission is to bless, serve, and love the people of the Town of Niagara and beyond.
"Barefoot Christian Community exists to see that every man, woman, and child in Niagara have repeated opportunities to hear, see, and respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and have their lives transformed by him," Haseley said.
Since January, Barefoot Christian Community members have served in the community with numerous ministries and organizations, including the Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission, Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care, Niagara Active Hose Fire Co., and the Town of Niagara.
Barefoot Christian Community is a network partner of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC). For more information on the community and its activities, visit www.barefootcc.net.
