For the second year in a row, rain threatened to mar the Peach Queen Pageant finals at the Niagara County Peach Festival. Fortunately, the final round went off as planned, with the finalists on stage at Academy Park.
After hearing from the dozen-plus candidates over the course of interviews, demonstrations and events, the judges crowned Angelica Beiter the new Peach Queen.
Beiter is a member of the Hereditary Angioedema Association and has assisted with many Make A Wish promotions. She is a student at Niagara County Community College studying to become a radiation technician.
Angelica is the daughter of Brian and Jamie Beiter. Her hobbies include blogging, do-it-yourself projects, and wedding and event planning. She is the author of a blog for young women with chronic illnesses, H-A-E-girl.net.
