Nine-year-old Samantha Tierney of the Town of Niagara will sell lemonade, hot dogs and baked goods to raise money for both the SPCA of Niagara and Niagara Hospice from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, at 3714 Rhode Island Ave., Niagara Falls.

Last year, Samantha raised approximately $1,400 for the Make A Wish Foundation with her sale.

Her goal is to raise even more funds this year, as well as continue the tradition, donating to a different organization each year.

Samantha is shown with her grandmother, Cheryl Reed, as she holds up a check for nearly $1,400 for the Make a Wish Foundation last year. Samantha presented the check to retired 97 Rock DJ Larry Norton on behalf on the organization.
