RealtyUSA is assisting Hopeful Ways as a community project. Hopeful Ways is a not-for-profit organization that takes a medical brigade to Nicaragua once a year to help over 2,500 people through vision screening, providing glasses and money for surgeries. Their long-term goal is to train the Nicaraguans to sustain themselves with the equipment and supplies provided by Hopeful Ways and Lions Clubs.
RealtyUSA is collecting new and used non-prescription sunglasses and reading glasses to be sent to the poor of Nicaragua. The collection runs through the month of May and anyone who would like to donate glasses, can do so at the RealtyUSA office at 2139 Grand Island Blvd. (across from Tops Markets).
