Reminder: 'Jazz & Pasta' set for Sunday

Lewiston Jazz Festival fundraiser features live music and an array of local cuisine

The Historic Lewiston Jazz Festival board invites residents to support this year's festival (Aug. 26-27) by attending the annual fundraising party - "Jazz & Pasta" - set for this Sunday, April 24. The event runs from 1-6 p.m. at Water Street Landing in Lewiston.

"Jazz & Pasta" features a day of continuous food and music with performances by Lori Bordonaro, Tony Zambito, Luke Ciminelli and Ron Corsaro. A delicious array of pastas will be generously contributed by some of the area's finest restaurants, including Big Guys Pizzeria, Casa Antica, Como Restaurant, Destino's Pizzeria, DiCamillo Baking Company, Favorites Pizzeria, Fortuna's Restaurant, Frenchy's Restaurant and Pizzeria, Hillview Café, Macri's Italian Grille, Spicey Pickle, Syros, The Brickyard Pub & B.B.Q., The Village Bake Shoppe, Water Street Landing, Wegmans, Wine on Third and the Youngstown Village Diner.

A basket auction, 50-50 split and special auction items also will be available. Additionally, the Lewiston Jazz Festival board will make an exclusive announcement at the fundraiser, revealing the headlining acts for the 2016 Lewiston Jazz Festival.

Tickets for "Jazz & Pasta" are $20 in advance or $25 the day of the event. Tickets are available for purchase at the Red Brick, Niagara River Region Chamber office, Artpark box office, Niagara Frontier Publications and online at www.lewistonjazz.com.
