The Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA recognized the Niagara County Auxiliary Police Force by presenting it with a grant of $2,500.

"Each year during the busy holiday season, the NCAP provides uniform police patrols interior and exterior at our shopping center. This past year they created a very high visual presence at our property, which deterred crime and provided an elevated sense of comfort and security to our customers," said John Doran, senior manager of Macerich's Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls.

He said 20 officers participated and more than 12,000 hours of volunteer service were delivered.
