Celebrate Valentine's Day early this year. "PUCKER Up with the Buffalo Sabres" when you meet some of your favorite players from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, at the SPCA Serving Erie County, 205 Ensminger Road, Tonawanda

Adopt an SPCA pet that day, and, if you're one of the first 50 to do so, you'll receive a pair of Sabres tickets for the 12:30 p.m. Valentine's Day game against the Colorado Avalanche.

"The SPCA Serving Erie County is a vital organization in our community that helps many animals in need of care and adoption," said Rich Jureller, Buffalo Sabres director of community relations. "We are very proud to support their efforts and hope through our partnership that many deserving animals will find forever homes."

"We've known for a long time that people can find the love of their lives at the SPCA," said Gina Browning, SPCA director of public relations. "Sometimes our animals just need a little help finding that perfect match, and we couldn't have asked for better matchmakers than the Buffalo Sabres! These players and the organization are scoring big for SPCA animals this Valentine's Day with the goal of finding them lasting love."

The names of visiting players will be released at a later date. Visit http://YourSPCA.org for more information and to see photos of the SPCA's adoptable animals.
