Mount St. Mary's Foundation names officers for 2016

Joseph Ieraci to serve as chairman

The Mount St. Mary's Foundation has announced its officers for 2016.

Joseph A. Ieraci, president, Aries Transportation, has been elected to serve as chairman. Others elected include: Kathryn Cumbo as vice chairman. Dr. Timothy Downs, provost and vice president of academic affairs at Niagara University, will serve as treasurer. Tanya Miller of Kay Jewelers was voted secretary.

Alan R. Elia Jr., CEO of Sevenson Environmental Services, is the immediate past president, while Julie Berrigan is executive director.

Other members of the board of directors include: G. Russell Conrad, CEO of Princeton Equity Partners; Anthony L. Eugeni, partner at Woods Oviatt Gilman, LLP; Bernadette Franjoine, vice president of mission integration at Mount St. Mary's; Christopher Leardini, senior vice president of operations at HealthNow; Kate Madan of First Niagara Bank; Donald J. McLeod, vice president of sales and marketing for Washington Mills; Michael A. Mistriner, partner/architect for Cannon Design; James Montani, senior production engineer at Niacet Corp.; J. Scott Munro, vice president/portfolio manager at UBS Wealth Management; Pamela Priest of Complete Wellness Arts & Science Center; Lt. Col. (Ret) Patrick Roemer of the New York Power Authority; Martin Shimmel, director of national accounts at Compu-Mail; Christine Sirianni, representing Family & Friends Down Syndrome Association of Niagara; Gary C. Tucker, FACHE, president and CEO of Mount St. Mary's; Allison Violante of the Flashes of Hope Foundation; and Jeffrey Williams, owner of Apartments of Niagara LLC.

Ex-officio members include James Fernandez, president George Optical Co. and past president of the board of associates of Mount St. Mary's; and Mary Ricciardi, past president of the St. Francis Guild of Mount St. Mary's.

Mount St. Mary's Foundation seeks to enhance the programs and services of Mount St. Mary's Hospital through charitable support.

Currently, the foundation is focused on a campaign to raise funds for the construction of a helipad on the hospital campus.
