Lockport CARES Vice President Toby Mansfield was recently presented with a check for $380 from students of Phi Beta Lambda on the Amherst campus of Bryant and Stratton. Bryant and Stratton students collected the money last semester for the Lockport CARES emergency shelter on Genesee Street.

Lockport CARES' sixth annual fundraising dinner is Thursday, Nov. 5, at Hartland Bible Church, 8110 West Ave., Gasport. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a large basket raffle. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. Donna Eick and DeVine Catering will cater the event. Tickets are $25 with table sponsorships available.
