Chris Musial, vice president and general manager of WBBZ-TV, is reminding readers "Polka Buzz presented by Key Liquors" is on the air every Sunday at 7 p.m.
Personality Ron Dombrowski, host of "Drive Time Polkas" (5-7 p.m. Monday-Saturday on WXRL 1300-AM; 8-11 a.m. Sunday on WECK 1230-AM and 102.9-FM), brings his unique style and knowledge of polka music to the television screen. Dombrowski has been broadcasting polka programs since 1979 on both radio and television.
"Polka Buzz" celebrates this genre of music as a recorded dance party program, featuring the top polka bands in the country. Programs will be recorded from 7-10p.m. at the Gratwick Hose & Fire Co., 110 Ward Road in North Tonawanda. The public is welcome to purchase tickets ($10) to these tapings, with the following bands performing:
