State Sen. Rob Ortt today delivered a $15,000 check to the Carousel Society of the Niagara Frontier. Ortt secured the funding for the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum in North Tonawanda to help support the educational, cultural and recreational programming the roughly 15,000 visitors experience every year.
In addition to today's check presentation, Ortt, North Tonawanda Mayor Pappas and the city's clerk-treasurer, Dan Quinn, sponsored the "Free Wednesday" event where admission is free for park visitors until 4 p.m.
