Scouts take flight in NT

The North Tonawanda Scouting Air Show will be held Sunday, July 19 at Gratwick Park on River Road. The community is invited from 1-4 p.m. for free family fun featuring free Cub Scouting bug juice, the Great Lakes Kite Club with giant kites, remote-control air planes display and demonstrations, a scouting flight simulator, ham radios in action, interactive activities such as launching pop bottle rockets, Frisbee games, croccer and more.

Visitors can buy hot dogs from the Boy Scouts and frozen treats from the Mr. Cool Ice Cream truck.
