Rolling Stones rock The Ralph

The Rolling Stones staged their highly anticipated Buffalo concert Saturday night at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The second last show of the current Zip Code Tour, a sold-out crowd was treated to a number of late '60s and early '70s hits marking the re-release of the Stones' "Sticky Wheels" album.

Among the many favorites, the pyrotechnics opener "Jumpin' Jack Flash"; "Sympathy for the Devil," which also led off with a lengthy and impressive pyrotechnics show; "Honky Tonk Women"; an extended version of the late '60s "Midnight Rambler"; "Brown Sugar"; and encore hits "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction."

All said, a crowd that ranged in age from teens to 70s and beyond was mesmerized and greatly enjoyed the Stones' rare Buffalo show, which carried on till almost 1 a.m. Sunday. (Photos by Matt and Terry Duffy)
