Mount St. Mary's Hospital to host free 'Mommy & Baby Expo'

Mount St. Mary's Hospital, in partnership with its Center for Women, is hosting a free "Mommy & Baby Expo" from 8-11:15 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at the hospital, 5300 Military Road, Lewiston. Open to all moms and their babies, the event features a wide array of vendors and health information from prenatal care through early childhood.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. in the hospital lobby and cafeteria. At 9 a.m., meet with area pediatricians, including doctors Shawn Ferguson, Edward Brown and Robert Gadawski. The Center for Women's medical team will be on hand to meet and greet with attendees beginning at 10 a.m., including obstetricians and gynecologists Sharmilee Thota, Rachel Weselak and Daniel Burns.

Attendees can tour the Center for Women and check out the newly renovated labor and delivery suites throughout the morning.

Over the past several years, Mount St. Mary's Center for Women has undergone a $2 million renovation on the hospital's second floor, which includes all new physician offices, treatment rooms, 4D ultrasound and new labor and delivery suites. Operating rooms and private patient rooms also have been renovated.
