Lions Clubs International celebrates April as new membership month. The Lewiston Community Lions Club will hold a prospective new member dinner from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at The Brickyard Pub and B.B.Q., 432 Center St., Lewiston. This is an opportunity to see what the Lewiston Lions Club is about, and learn how to become a Lion.

A Lion of 43 years, William Ross, president of Town of Wheatfield Lions Club, will speak about Lionism, and how it has positively influenced his life and community.

"Take Me Out to The Bills Game" founder Michael Esposito will speak on behalf of his organization, which is set up to take special needs kids from Western New York to various sporting events.

Active new members provide the Lewiston Lions Club with fresh ideas, new projects and additional ways to make a difference in the community.

Those interested in attending should RSVP to Lewiston Lion President Regina Cecconi at 716-523-4567 or [email protected]. More information about the Lewiston Lions can be found at www.lewistoncommunitylionsclub-ny.org.
