AAA Western and Central New York hosting job fair March 24

AAA Western and Central New York is holding a job fair for positions in several of the club's departments from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at AAA Amherst Travel and Insurance Center (lower level), 100 International Drive, Williamsville.

During the job fair, applications will be accepted and interviews will be conducted for the following positions:

•Full-time drivers with the AAA roadside assistance fleet

•Full-time general service/lube technicians at AAA Car Care Plus auto repair facilities

•Part-time in-car driving instructors for AAA's driving school

All positions require a valid New York State driver's license. Auto repair technician candidates must have at least one year general automotive technician, tire technician or lube technician experience, a high school diploma/GED and state inspection certificate.

Roadside assistance fleet driver candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year driving experience and mechanical aptitude.

Driving instructor candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively with teenage students. Knowledge of traffic safety/traffic laws and a background in teaching/bus driving/law enforcement is preferred.
