The Museum of disABILITY History is happy to announce the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County's "Spring It On" campaign. "Spring It On" is an online fundraising event designed to raise awareness and funds for not-for profit organizations throughout Western New York with a unique one-day focus.

"Spring It On" will begin at 8 a.m. March 19 and run until 8 a.m. March 20. Individuals can make a one-time, secure, online donation to the Museum of disABILITY History and other agencies through a specially designed website: www.springiton.org/museumofdisability.

The Museum of disABILITY History is a one-of-a-kind museum dedicated to increasing the understanding, acceptance and independence of individuals with disabilities. Located in Buffalo, it is the only brick-and-mortar museum with a mission related to disability history.

Staffers supplement the exhibit gallery with other educational programming, including a speakers series, film festivals and advocacy events for individuals with disabilities. Disability-related outreach programs also are available to assist other organizations with awareness activities.

Donations are gladly accepted at www.springiton.org/museumofdisability.
