Niagara River Greenway meetings Tuesday

The Niagara River Greenway Commission will hold two meetings Tuesday, March 17, at the New York Power Authority Power Vista Community Room, 5777 Lewiston Road, Lewiston. The executive committee will meet at 2 p.m. and the full commission will meet at 3 p.m. Both meetings are open to the public.

The projects considered for consistency review are as follows (find more details at www.niagaragreenway.org):

  • Town of West Seneca - Oxbow Park acquisition
  • Town of Newfane - Ye Olde Log Cabin project
  • Town of Lewiston - Sanborn sign project

The Greenway Commission is a public benefit corporation established by Chapter 460 of the laws of 2004, and charged with the planning and development of a greenway of interconnected parks, river access points and waterfront trails along the Niagara River from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario at the site of the historic Fort Niagara.
