Dr. Brenda Perez, a board-certified primary care physician at the Mount St. Mary's Primary Care Center, has been selected to attend the National Conference of Constituency Leadership in Kansas City in April.
Perez will represent the New York State Academy of Family Physicians at the conference, which helps physicians develop the skills to advocate for issues that are relevant to their constituency, their practice and their patients. The conference serves as a platform for different perspectives and concerns of AAFP members from underrepresented constituencies to help bring about change.
Perez will represent the minority community at the conference.
Perez is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and is board-certified in family medicine.
