'All About Autism' workshop set for Dec. 13

Do you have a child or loved one with an autism spectrum disorder and would like to learn more about related community resources and support?

The Rotary Club of Lewiston and Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara University and the Collaboration for Autism Support and Education are hosting a free "All About Autism" workshop for parents, families and friends. The event takes place from 8:30 a.m. until noon Saturday, Dec. 13. The workshop will be held on the Niagara University campus in St. Vincent's Hall, Room 407.

Learn more about how individuals with autism spectrum disorder communicate and interact, as well as process the information they're taking in around them. The workshop features presentations and a panel discussion with autism experts and family members. Information about how to access community services and supports to maximize the potential and success for individuals with autism of ages also will be available.
