The Lewiston Museum will be open to the public during the Lewiston Christmas Walk, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6-7. The museum will be adorned for the season with a decorated Christmas tree, greens and candlelight throughout. Visitors are invited to take in the exhibits on local history, and then sit and relax to enjoy the live holiday music, sponsored by Lewiston Music.
Re-enactors will be decked out in period clothing and will be available for photo opportunities. The museum store will be open to browse and will feature holiday gifts, including locally themed books, Frontier House and Lewiston Museum ornaments, and many other Lewiston treasures. Also, the museum will have a one-of-a-kind petite antique sale.
The Lewiston Museum is located at 469 Plain St. It will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Admission is free.
