Plans are now in the works for new signage replacements at the four entrances to the Village of Youngstown. The signs have been acquired with the help of the original signmaker's son, Nick Costrino, and the Modern sign shop.

"The younger Costrino was able to reconstruct his father, Lou's, rendition so loved by the residents and visitors to the Village of Youngstown," said Cheryl Butera, president of the Youngstown Business and Professional Association and co-owner of Anchor Spirits. "The new signs are of a much stronger material and meant to last many years with reflective lettering for night viewing. These signs are just breathtaking!"

Butera said the signs were purchased with the help of the Village of Youngstown, the YBPA, as well as monies received from the William G. Mayne grant for 2014.
