Kenworth Truck Co. of Buffalo recently loaned a truck for students in Westin Blidy's heavy equipment/diesel mechanics program to work with at the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center.

Kenworth allowed the class to have access to a heavy duty T680 truck last week at the Orleans/Niagara BOCES site.

"We are very appreciative of Kenworth's generosity in donating this vehicle for my students to improve on their education," Blidy said. "We will use it for engine troubleshooting and studying exhaust emissions. It is a great opportunity for my classes to get a better understanding of the latest technology that is used by the trucking industry because that is what they will be working on in the future."
