'2014 Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes' at Larkin Square

The 2014 "Buffalo Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes" takes place Saturday, Oct. 11, at Larkin Square of downtown Buffalo. Registration starts at 10 a.m. and the walk begins at 11 a.m.

The walk is approximately three miles throughout downtown Buffalo. Highlights include breakfast and lunch, a health and wellness fair, kids zone, music and other entertainment. To register as a walker or for more information, call 716-835-0274 or visit www.diabetes.org/stepoutbuffalo.

Approximately 29 million people in the U.S. are diagnosed with diabetes. The American Diabetes Association is leading the fight to stop diabetes and its deadly consequences and fight for those affected by diabetes.
