If you enjoy scrapbooking, but just do not have the time, then attend a dedicated event of scrapbooking to start, continue or finish your next album. A 12-hour scrapbooking event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., at Cleveland Heights Christian Church, 4774 Union Road, Cheektowaga.

Participants may choose a full or half-day. The Williamsville Lehigh Valley Depot hosts the event.

Attendees will enjoy an entire, uninterrupted day devoted to creating their works of art and memories. The cost of the event is $40 for a full day or $25 for a half-day (9 a.m.-3 p.m., or 3-9 p.m.) The price includes hot breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the day.

Electrical outlets will be available for cricuts. There will be contests throughout the day to win prizes.

All proceeds will benefit the Williamsville Lehigh Valley Depot and caboose restoration. The depot in Williamsville was constructed in 1896, and was the only station on the Lehigh line between Depew to Niagara Falls.
