Grant funding available for home repairs in rural areas

The Niagara County Community Action Program Inc. announces the availability of grant funds for home repair, open to qualified Niagara County residents who own their homes and reside in rural areas of the county.

The type of qualifying home repairs can include gutters, downspouts, roofs, furnaces, hot water tanks, chimneys/foundations, replacement doors and windows, electrical and plumbing, and accessibility modifications such as ramps, lifts, etc. The scope of the work and amount of financial assistance will be determined by an inspection of the home.

Homeowners must meet income eligibility guidelines and other program criteria. Income guidelines vary upon the grant-funding source.
