Who will lead the Village of Lewiston the next four years? Residents will choose a mayor in today's election. Voting continues until 9 p.m. at the Red Brick Municipal Building, 145 N. Fourth St.
Incumbent Terry Collesano seeks a second term as mayor. He is challenged by Jamie Symmonds, a former Planning Board member and current Center Street business owner; and Jacqueline Lampman, a legal nurse consultant and former restaurant owner.
Collesano is running on the Republican line. Symmonds (Voice for the Village Party) and Lampman (Lewiston Village Party) are running as independent candidates.
Trustees Bruce Sutherland and Vic Eydt are running unopposed for re-election. Appointed Trustee Dan Gibson, also running unopposed, seeks his first election win.
